Agro Mavens arranged an interview on BBC Farming Today for Nikhil Nanda, MD of Escorts International - manufacturers of India's first electric tractor.
Escorts International, India’s fourth-largest tractor manufacturer, unveiled its first electric tractor in September 2017. Rated at 25hp, and offering six hours’ usage from a single charge, it will go into production in 2018.
Following its launch at Agritechnica, the biennial machinery show in Hannover, Germany, in November 2017, Agro Mavens arranged media interviews for Escorts’ managing director, Nikhil Nanda, during a visit to the UK.
