Agro Mavens founder Adrian Bell has won the ‘Agricultural PR Writer of the Year’ accolade for the second consecutive year.
Awarded by the British Guild of Agricultural Journalists, the UK’s only professional organisation for agricultural and rural media, the prize – now in its second year – recognises excellence in PR writing.

Adrian retained his Agricultural PR Writer of the Year title, sponsored by Oxtale founder Amy Jackson, with a feature written for Speciality Chemicals Magazine on behalf of client Fyteko, a Belgian agtech start-up with a unique approach to bio-based crop inputs.
Judges said the well-handled piece showcased Adrian’s experience and skill in tackling complex science subjects with flair and fluidity.
“The piece flowed brilliantly highlighting the company’s entrepreneurial approach and expertise without being an overt product push,” they added.
“The whole ethos of the piece to return to nature to find solutions to climate change came over confidently and in a compelling way.”
